Being a founding member of H/Advisors, the leading global strategic advisory network, H/Advisors Havas Paris has a global capacity for deployment and coordination of projects of any complexity in the constantly evolving communications landscape.

Today the network operates directly through its partner agencies in 23 countries, in addition to a number of long-established affiliate agencies in additional countries around the globe. The H/Advisors network (previously known as AMO) has 22 years of experience in strategic and financial communications, integrating the full range of practices related to stakeholder interests.

In 2023, we continued to develop the H/Advisors network with the acquisitions of Australian Public Affairs (APA) and Cunha Vaz & Associados (CV&A) in Portugal. Our ongoing international expansion has been driven by the global ambitions of the blue-chip corporations and institutions that we advise.

Deputy Managing Director of Havas Paris & Head of influence

Arielle is Deputy Managing Director at Havas Paris. She joined Havas as a director in 2014. She has been leading the "Influence" department for 3 years. She graduated from HEC in 2007 and was elected to sit on an anti-racist organization fighting prejudice and discrimination.In 2011, she started for Eurogroup Consulting, where she mainly supported state transformations in strategic and operational consulting. She leads the strategic consulting and communication, managing the reputation of major companies, institutions and bosses. She has led the communications strategy on M&A deals in the infrastructure, transportation, and healthcare sectors, overseeing strategy and implementation and leading a team of dedicated experts. Arielle Schwab has structured and managed the sustainability practice at Havas Paris, on the dynamics and positioning of corporate engagement for the past few years. She supports clients and accounts on crisis management, corporate reputation and leadership, emergence and visibility, ecosystem links and institutional relations, and strategic decisions on engagement and sustainability. She is also a committee member of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, and sits on the boards of several associations such as "Librairies Sans Frontières" and "Le Langage des Femmes".

Pauline Caillat is Director of Havas Paris People. This offer is based on a wide range of expertise, from employee advocacy and employee loyalty to the reorganization of an HR department and support for the communication of company transformation. A communicator with many hats, Pauline started in 2007 when she was communications director for François Bayrou until 2012. This was not her only experience in the political world as she was also in charge of relations with the Parliament for the Prime Minister between 2019 and 2020, as well as deputy director of the cabinet of the Secretary of State for Youth and Engagement the following year. She also has extensive experience in the private sector as she worked for Elan Eldeman between 2014 and 2019 in crisis communication and influence consulting until ending up as the company's CEO. So Pauline had the opportunity to see the other side of the communication picture by being part of the communication teams of a company. She ended up joining Havas Paris in 2021, where she was able to bring her experience to a different type of communication than what she was used to doing. A true autodidact, she had no trouble adapting her expertise to this new offer, as evidenced by the satisfaction of her many prestigious CAC40 clients (Orange, MGEN, Véolia, etc...). Pauline Caillat holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po.

Batoul Hassoun heads the Havas Group's Consulting unit, which she created to support organizations in their corporate strategy. The Salmon Consulting helps companies redefine new growth areas, new business models, rework their marketing and offerings, and support internal and external change through a skilful blend of business understanding and human sciences. A true intrapreneur, she previously created the Paris branch of Ogilvy Consulting, which she managed for 8 years, giving her the opportunity to accompany organizations from different sectors and of different sizes, on a variety of issues ranging from product innovation to the redefinition of raison d'être or CSR strategies. She has worked with Bureau Veritas, BNP Paribas, Roquette, Verisure, Ardian and Louvre Hotels. Before creating Ogilvy Consulting, Batoul helped create the Paris office of Figtree (since acquired by Prophet), a London-based consulting agency where she developed́ the client portfolio and worked on strategy projects with brands such as Orange, GDF Suez Trading and Schneider Electric. She also helped launch the European long-distance coach offering OuiBus at SNCF. In this context, she defined the main lines of the marketing strategy - from the creation of the brand to the definition of the fare policy and the customer experience. Batoul is also involved as co-president of the Club 21e Siècle, a think and do tank that works for a positive collective perception of diversity and for everyone, regardless of their socio-cultural background, to realize their potential. Batoul is a graduate of ESSEC.

Audrey is a H/Advisors Havas Paris partner with a background of nearly 20 years in finance, financial communication, corporate communication and public affairs. Audrey is graduated from the ESSEC business school and a postgraduate degree in sociology and political communication from Paris Dauphine University. She starts her career in 2004 as special advisor for relations with the Parliament at the cabinet of the French Minister of Budget and State Reform, Government spokesman. She joined in 2007 the corporate and investment banking branch of Societe Generale where she hold different positions on capital markets teams: bond origination and interest rate derivatives. Since 2017, she has been Head of investor relations and financial communication in different French listed companies : Groupe ADP (Airports operator), Plastic Omnium (automotive supplier), URW (retail real estate). In those positions, she led results presentations, capitalistic operations, investors day (capital markets day), strategic plan announcement, general meetings and crisis management.

Dylan Buffinton

Associate director

Dylan is a Director and Board Member at The Salmon Consulting. He joined this consultancy in 2021, to find innovative answers to the new strategic and business challenges companies face today. To achieve this, he combines both rational and emotional approaches, taking advantage of his background in consulting, finance, and human sciences/behavioral studies. Previously Consulting Director and Head of New Business at Ogilvy Consulting for more than 5 years, he was able to build fruitful and lasting relationships with French and global clients of all types, size, and sectors. Dylan has developed an expertise in bank & finance after working for Ardian, BNP Paribas, Credit Mutuel, Qonto, Alven, Edmond de Rothschild, etc. Before 2016, Dylan was a Venture Capital Analyst at investment companies Eurazeo Growth (Younited Credit, Vestiaire Collective, Doctolib…) and CapHorn (Ledger, Finalcad…). He was able to analyze and support startups/scale-ups in diverse fields, at different companies’ maturities. He also participated in the selection and training of young startups at Station F incubator and at BPI France. In 2012, he worked one year for ‘Le Fooding’ (French culinary guide and events) in the US, which included leading the opening of the West Coast office in Los Angeles. Dylan holds a Master's degree in Economics & Business from the Sciences Po Paris Management School, as well as a certificate in Design Thinking from the Hasso Plattner Institute (Stanford Design School). He co-wrote the management book “Un Caillou dans la chaussure” (Editions de l’Observatoire), and regularly writes columns in the French press, as well as participates in various webinars and conferences.

Sarah is a Partner at H/Advisors Havas Paris with more than 12 years of experience in executive, financial and corporate communication, a CFA Charterholder since 2017 and an elected member of CFA Society France Board of Directors. Throughout her career, Sarah has advised financial institutions and consulting firms such as Euronext, Morgan Stanley, CVC Capital Partners, Credit Suisse and McKinsey & Company on reputation, corporate communication and public relations, and large and mid-listed companies such as Engie, Groupe Bel, Alstom, FDJ, Air Liquide, L’Oréal, Orange, FDJ, Sodexo and Korian on executive and financial communication, investor relations and shareholder communication. Sarah also has specialized in communication on key transactions and financial operations: M&A, IPO and share capital increases. Among others, she has advised Bel on its sale of the Leerdammer brand to Lactalis, Alstom on its acquisition of Bombardier Transportation, Safran on its acquisition of Zodiac Aerospace (and against activist shareholder TCI), Icade Santé and Neoen on their IPO processes, EDF and Air Liquide on their share capital increases. Before joining H/Advisors Havas Paris in 2016, Sarah worked at Publicis Consultants/MSLGroup as a Senior Consultant specialized in financial and corporate communication, and at i&e Burson-Marsteller as a PR specialist. Mael is an experienced corporate, crisis & financial communications specialist. Since he joined Havas Paris in 2017, he has worked on press support and advice for financial institutions such as Eurazeo, Centerview Partners and Morgan Stanley but also for listed/industrials companies such as ENGIE, Korian, Bel, Inetum, Saur, etc.   He also worked on financial transactions such as Veolia/Suez or Alstom/Bombardier or Bouygues/Equans. He also played a central role in handling the press relations aspects of the Girondins de Bordeaux (football club) transaction to King Street and GACP.    Before joining the agency, he worked for one year at the newspaper Ouest-France  and for one year for the Bolloré group in the investor relations department.    Mael holds a Master's degree in financial engineering from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master degree in Mathematics and Economics.

Agathe Gauthier is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (Master in Communications) and Bristol University (BA in English Literature), She joined the Havas Paris Influence division in 2020, combining media relations, crisis management and public affairs work. As a consultant, Agathe's clients include the tech, agri-food, health, media and consumer goods sectors. Before joining Havas Paris, she had worked for leading European banking group BNP Paribas, in the corporate communications department, and in a Parisian communications agency where she focused on business development and competitive tenders.

Marion joined Havas in 2019 as Chief of Staff to Stéphane Fouks, Executive Vice-President of Havas and Executive Chairman of H/Advisors. Thanks to a long experience abroad (Mexico, Ireland, Cyprus, Taiwan and Portugal) and following a master's degree in intra/extra-European project engineering, Marion began her professional career working on European projects such as Erasmus+ to promote social inclusion in Portugal. Marion then worked at Club Med for three years in the Europe-Africa business unit, leading international sales, training, communication and marketing projects. Marion teaches on a voluntary basis and is fluent in four languages. She supported the rebranding of the /amo network, which in 2022 became the H/Advisors network, an international strategic communications network backed by Havas. In addition to her role with Stéphane Fouks and following this mission, she became Chief of Staff for the international network and for the local agency H/Advisors Havas Paris.

Ievgen Kurmashov

Ievgen began his career as a communication and creative adviser in 2005 in Ukraine, working predominantly for clients in booming and various political communications market at that time in his home country. Joined as a political analyst and communication consultant the prominent non-governmental expert and consultancy center “Gorshenin Institute” (Kyiv, Ukraine) in 2008, Ievgen became its director for political and research programs and a junior partner in 2012. As a communication and crises consultant Ievgen implemented dozens of projects for various Ukrainian governmental, political, corporate and institutional clients working for a broad range of Ukrainian companies, public institutions, business and local leaders, and domestic and international NGOs. Joined Havas Paris in 2022 after leaving Ukraine with his large family. Ievgen serves as a Senior Consultant for the Havas Paris International Consulting, contributing to other directions of Havas.

Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President of Havas Paris, Michel Bettan brings his experience and expertise in leadership coaching, strategic corporate communications, institutional communications and crisis communications to advise renowned clients, both public and private.   After studying law and teaching at the University of Paris 12 for five years, Michel Bettan began his professional life in politics. He worked for a Deputy Mayor at the French National Assembly for 11 years before becoming chief of staff and special advisor to a former Minister of Labor, Employment and Health. He then served as chief of staff to the president of a political party. In 2010, he joined Havas Paris as a partner and then became Executive Vice President in charge of the Influence department.   In 2019, he was co-opted to join the board of directors of the think tank named “Fondation pour l'Innovation politique”.

Nourdine, 59, joined the Havas Group in 1998, after a career in politics both at the local and state level. Specializing in crisis communications and lobbying, Nourdine CHERKAOUI, chose to focus, in the past 20 years, on assisting French and Foreign leaders in their speeches, particularly in front of the media (media training). He developed within the Havas Paris agency the unique "Havas Coaching Solutions". That allowed him to assist more than 6,000 executives – agency clients - at major events and in situations of rapid environmental or regulatory changes, health, social and environmental crises or in complex legal situations. Nourdine Cherkaoui has also been teaching public speaking techniques for 15 years within the OMNES EDUCATION Group (Sup de Pub HEIP), the leading private higher education group in France.

For the past twenty years, Nicolas has been convinced that there will be no sustainable performance of companies without the will to have a positive influence on society.   After studying public law and political science, Nicolas published his doctoral thesis in 2002, "L'entreprise face au tribunal de l'opinion, modélisation des débats sociaux impliquant les entreprises en Sciences de l'information et de la communication" at CELSA. He joined i&e in 1999 as a crisis communication consultant.  Nicolas joined TBWACORPORATE in 2003 to develop WATCH, an entity dedicated to business consulting and focused on new approaches at the crossroads of economic intelligence and communication consulting.  In 2007, he co-founded the ELAN agency dedicated to the influence of companies, brands and managers. ELAN grew from 4 to a hundred employees in a few years, including a lobbying firm in Brussels (EURALIA) bought in 2012, and an entity in London. He published "Le devoir d'influence", published by Odile Jacob (2013), as well as numerous articles dedicated to reputation management and corporate social influence. In 2015, the partners of ELAN sold their shareholding to the EDELMAN Group and created ELAN EDELMAN and took over the management of this new international agency in Paris. Nicolas Narcisse becomes Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of this entity gathering more than 150 collaborators.  In 2017, Nicolas created THE PURPOSE PROJECT, a strategic and creative consulting firm including the think-tank, THINKERS & DOERS dedicated to positive business transformation.   Since 2019, Nicolas is Executive Vice President of Havas Paris. There, he develops new approaches to support Havas clients in the positive transformation of their models and develop a new culture of engagement.  In this capacity, he created #NEWDEAL,, a think tank that brings together more than 1,500 contributors, including Havas employees, executives, and leaders from the economic, institutional and civil society worlds.   Every week, this think tank organizes events on themes related to new practices aimed at reconciling the search for economic performance and positive impact.   Nicolas supervises some fifteen major accounts such as Saint-Gobain, L'Oréal, CMA CGM, Bel Group... and accompanies top executives.

He leads key strategic accounts, mostly focused on corporate issues in many different sectors, from industry to finance, from environmental services to real estate development, from health to telco… Before joining Havas, Yffic had various experiences as communications consultant in specialized agencies. As EVP H/Advisors Havas Paris, he advises C-level executives on all strategic communications matters for clients such as AbbVie, Amazon, AXA, BNP Paribas, Janssen, Nexity, Peugeot, Sagem, Sodexo or Veolia. Christophe, Senior Partner, joined Havas in 2011 after an international career in agencies and in advertisement. He was Director of Communications for Yahoo! France, and Head of Social Media for Yahoo! Europe. As a specialist in influence and reputation issues for brands and executives, he created Make It Live, the Havas Paris entity dedicated to video production with content for brands and institutions. A unique know-how, at the convergence of influence expertise (press and social networks) and audio-visual production. Make it Live produces a variety of formats (news, interviews, reports, event coverage, brand content, live multicams, drone footage) for brands' social networks and media (TV and media sites). One obsession: producing the right content at the right time.

Stéphanie Prunier created Havas Legal & Litigation in 2014, a department provides strategic advice on crisis management in situations involving high-stakes litigation. Stéphanie Prunier holds a postgraduate qualification in General Private Law and was a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Tours from 1992 to 1995 and at Paris II Panthéon-Assas from 2004 to 2007. Stéphanie Prunier joined Havas as Partner in 2010, coming from the Ministry of Defence, where she advised the French Defence Minister for 3 years. With fifteen years of experience in communications agencies, Arthur Richer has developed a cross-functional expertise and has specialized in supporting organizations and leaders in the sports sector. He joins Havas Paris in 2019 to support major accounts in managing their reputation, developing their influence, and in crisis communications, for clients such as Bel, Saur, IBM or Naval Group. Passionate about sports, he is also developing a specialized activity with the Sport & Reputation practice. He works with clients such as Alpine, and in particular its CEO Laurent Rossi and its star driver Esteban Ocon, but also Gérard Lopez and the Girondins de Bordeaux, or the French Rugby Federation, as well as various companies partnering with sports events and organizations. Prior to that, after his Masters at SciencesPo Paris, he began his career as a strategic planner at TBWA, where he specialized in content and social media strategies. In 2015, he joined the international network specializing in reputation management FleishmanHillard, as director of strategy and digital, where he developed his expertise in sensitive and crisis communications. He then joined the communications advisory firm "2017", founded by Gaspard Gantzer and Nathalie Iannetta to assist business leaders and personalities in managing their reputation.

Daniel Saltsman has been active for the past ten years in the strategic communication consulting sector. He has developed a strong expertise in advising companies and senior executives in their positioning and media relations. Between 2014 and 2018, he was an account director at Havas Paris, working for French and International clients in the definition and implementation of their communication strategies. In 2018, he joined No Com, a communication consulting firm specialized in corporate transformation, where he led the PR Practice. In 2020, he was appointed Head of External Communication and Public Relations for Radio France, France’s leading radio group. He rejoined Havas Paris as a Partner in 2023. Since 2016, Daniel Saltsman has been a lecturer at the Sciences Po Paris School of Management and Innovation. He has also lectured at the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). Daniel Saltsman graduated from the Sciences Po School of Communication.

Philippine van Tichelen

A graduate of Sciences Po and Ecole de Guerre, Philippine has over 12 years of international experience. She started her career in the French administration, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense. She then spent 3 years assisting Bolloré Africa Logistics' Corporate Secretary on various matters from crisis management to business intelligence, from compliance to CSR. She joined Havas Paris International Consulting in 2015 and has been supporting its clients – foreign governments, international institutions and multinationals – on their various reputational communications challenges since then. This covers national branding, attractiveness strategies, corporate communications, CEO and Ministers' personal branding. She has a special expertise of the African and Middle Eastern regions, having worked/lived/traveled extensively to these regions for 10 years. Philippine is Vivendi's travel and tourism expert, managing the travel vertical of the entire Vivendi group, called HERE.
